Sexuality
ASEXUAL
Someone who is asexual experiences little to no sexual attraction. Being asexual means different things to different people, but typically they experience no sexual feelings.
BISEXUAL
The romantic or sexual attraction to two or more genders or sexes. Often used to describe someone who is attracted to men and women, but traditionally the term was meant to include attraction to one’s own gender identity/sex and other gender identities/sexes.
GAY
The word "Gay" can refer to anyone attracted to the same sex/gender, but is often specifically used in relation to men who are exclusively attracted to men, both sexually and romantically.
LESBIAN
A woman who is sexually and romantically attracted to other women, exclusively.
MLM
An acronym meaning "men who love men" which can refer to a number of sexualities falling under that umbrella.
QUEER
Sexual and gender minorities who are not heterosexual and cisgender. Some people still use this term to refer to themselves as “different, strange, or odd” but the younger generations are using queer as a word of pride.
SEXUALITY
This refers to a person’s sexual preference or orientation. This can also refer to one’s sexual feelings, thoughts, attractions, and behaviors towards another person.
