  1. Values - Regardless of the size of your university's campus, there are going to be people that you don’t know or do not know well. After going through rush, groups of girls are brought together to get to know each other and form a forever bond. This bond stems from having the same values as one another and serves as a foundation for getting to know an array of new people. It makes it easier to form friendships with others and gives individuals the opportunity to meet their future friends for life.

  2. Growth - By joining an organization with girls of all college ages, this creates exposure to a variety of personality types. These personalities have a strong influence on one another due to the amount of time that individuals will spend together. Females have the power to learn from the people they are surrounded by and are able to discover their hidden qualities. The growth that can happen from these personalities interacting can be critical to the development of important character traits within females.

  3. Networking - Once the relationships have established between women within their specific organizations, these bonds can be everlasting. They not only will provide guidance for future challenges, but they also will be a resource for future jobs or internships. The support they provide can be critical in developing personal and professional goals for an individual.

  4. Involvement - Joining a greek organization allows for individuals who are involved in many different areas of their campus to come together. Finding out what other students are interested in within the same organization can open doors, helping members to discover a new passion or way to help their community. Bonding with students who share a set of values can help to establish stronger relationships while expanding the opportunities they are exposed to.

  5. Sisterhood - There is no better feeling than being surrounded by a group of girls that support each other and always have each other’s backs. The ability to be a part of something that enhances girls personalities while formulating relationships that extend further than the college level is an opportunity that is rare. It is indescribable to be a part of an organization where so many girls are able to watch each other develop into young women.
