In a huge win for women’s equality, the Indian Supreme Court just made a landmark decision regarding women in the Indian Armed Forces. All female army officers are now eligible for permanent commission - meaning that they can now earn positions of command. Learn More

“With visibility comes responsibility.” Prodigal painter Jordan Casteel’s newest series, “Nights in Harlem” opened last week at the New Museum in NYC. The series depicts the everyday lives of the black men in her Harlem neighborhood. Casteel stated that she wanted to show black men as they are in their normal lives, and not through the lens of entertainment or criminality. Learn More
